Womens Sheds are supportive spaces where women of all ages and backgrounds, come together to share skills, spark creativity and nurture personal growth. Whether it’s learning something new, joining a craft session or simply enjoying a cup of tea and good conversation, every Shed is a place to belong.

At the heart of every Women’s Shed is a sense of safety, friendship and inclusion. It’s a place where women can be themselves, free from judgment, full of encouragement.

About Women's Sheds of Ireland

Women’s Sheds of Ireland (WSOI) is the national representative body supporting and advocating for Women’s Sheds across Ireland.

Built by women, for women, WSOI works to connect and strengthen the growing Women’s Sheds movement, ensuring that sheds have a strong collective voice and the support they need to thrive within their communities.

We champion the important role Women’s Sheds play in reducing isolation, building friendships, supporting wellbeing and creating welcoming spaces where women can connect, learn, share skills and belong.

As the movement continues to grow, WSOI is working to build a strong and sustainable national network — representing the needs and experiences of Women’s Sheds and ensuring their voices are heard by Government, agencies and decision-makers at both local and national level.
